Life without the LBC

So, I am now into what is essentially week three of being without the MG. I miss it! You tend to take it for granted when you are able to just get into these vehicles and run around in them.

I didn't anticipate the withdrawal symptoms being so bad, I'm getting depressed looking at the empty space in my garage.

Well, time to fill it!!

See the "this looks like fun" thread /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

There's a nice B LE for sale in my hood Steve, original owner, beauty of a car.

Lets hope you can fill that void in your garage soon. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I like going out to the garage and just tinkering with the B'. Helps smooth out even the roughest day. That and a nice glass of single malt. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I like the way you think!

ditto on the tinkering bit.

I haven't tinkered on my B in what feels like ages now. Probably been about 2 months since I've fixed or modified anything. Even though I drive the car everyday, I think this lack of 'tinkering' is beginning to effect my mood.

I've got parts on order and currently waiting for them to arrive, but it's almost to the point that I'm tempted to go out and break something just so I can fix it...

Na, time to buy another....maybe a GT or a Midget....everybody's gotta have 1 of each!

Count your blessings Rob. You've done what you need to do, your car is reliable and all you have to do now is drive it. Many people would give an arm and a leg to be in your situation, although then they would need an automatic transmission.

heh... and a "suicide knob" to boot!

oh, I know. I just need to go out for some "therapy" driving. Haven't done a drive for giggles in a while.
