There I was, going to get Christmas stuff out of the overhead and wife said can I come up. Sure, why not. Oh what a mess looks like stuff for the ladies garage sale in Jan she says. What's this, and there in a packed unmarked box since 1990 when I went to Saudi and she and the packers did a number on my stuff was my Arc welder. Wow oh wow, what a find. Just think I may need that, in fact need it now for a bit on a kids elec car.

Think you could come over to my house and pull a hydraulic press or something outta thin air like that.
"ta da! thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week."
"No applause, just throw money!"

It always felt like Christmas after an Army move when everything was in storage - found things we'd forgotten for months - even years when we were stationed overseas!

I'm finding more and more as I get older....

is it because I've gotten more stuff to find... or I've forgotten more things? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Haha, James. Prob a bit of both.

I am totally going to try that one with the wife...

"Why look what I just found in the garage, honey! A CNC mill! I didn't even know I had it!"

LOL. Dragging this a little OT but you reminded me of something....I used to work for a audiophile stereo/home theater store and I remember quite a few guys used to pull a little 'trick'. They'd come in biweekly and drop off cash towards their purchase and then when they were pretty close to paid up they'd come in and write a check for what they still owed, say around 10%. That way the wife would think that the new $5000 stereo only cost him $500. LOL /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
