Li 125 spotted on.....

I finally completed the restoration of my 1959 Lambretta Li125.
It is a 125cc with 4-speed transmission. In the next couple of weeks I will be changing engines to increase the size to 175cc.
There are only 3,000 original miles on this scooter. I took it out this morning on its first solo and it performed perfectly!

I wanted to add one additional photo...
The 1959 is on the left and the 1963 on the right.
Notice on the '59 the headlight is stationary and does not steer when you make turns.

Those are really cool. A British mechanic I worked for for a short time was rebuilding a Lambretta. Nicely built scooters.
Of course, now we all know you're a Mod.
