Let's talk about stainless steel brake lines...

Any downside for a TR6? The lines are dry anyway since I just finished rebuilding the front suspension...

Just the fronts OK or need to do all four?

Thanks.

Don't have a TR6, but I like them on my TR3/A & Stags.

They aren't "magic bullets" though, so you still need to be careful to inspect and install them properly; and be sure to never strain them. The stainless braid is only to protect the relatively soft actual pressure line inside from abrasion, and will hide any damage to it. If you accidentally drop a caliper and the line catches it, it's probably best to just replace the line. Some people say they should be replaced periodically anyway.

Nothing wrong with doing only the fronts, but you'll only get half of the already slight improvement.

A good choice. Now find out if teflon liner or rubber liner. Teflon liners are good for a lot longer life than exposed or even rubber liner stainless.

Ideally rubber hoses should be replaced every 4-5 years. But I know of no one who obeys "ideal" The stainless helps contain expansion on the inner tubing and often helps brake pedal "feel" under hard usage.

No problem doing one end at a time.
