My first thought was that it seemed a pricey - and perhaps is, but, when you consider the work already done, (and parts acquired) it is probably reasonable

I agree with your first intuition, JP. When a spridget is coming thru in the A pillars there are plenty of other places that are suspect. Neat but pricey.

The pic of her back side says it all. Not just the tail lights but the hacked up reverse lights and plate light. Notice the rear bumper spacing to the tail lights - a nice gap on the left, not so much on the right. Run the other way....fast,

Lights worked fine on the Cortina. Not so much here.
