Been meetin' lots of folks lately who just ~LOVE~ to tell me how wonderful they are and how many ~WONDERFUL~ things they have and done. I hate people like that.

Oh!Sorry - I wasn't sure you knew how great I am,
so I figured that I'd better remind you.
On the other hand, maybe you do.

- Doug

Your on the top of my list ,Doug

And I don't really want to know just which list that might be.
I've had many people tell me that I'm "#1" when I'm driving.

- Doug

I'm so great I don't have to brag

My humility, which is exceeded only by my hubris, prevents me from commenting.

Billy,

On a serious note - I don't like it when I see someone
with a nice and/or expensive car,& they think that they "deserve it".
I like to see the people you think that they're very fortunate to be
able to enjoy those kind of vehicles.

- Doug

Did see an expensive late model car one day with the plate UENVYME. I don't car for the most part what the more fortunate have, but they also shouldn't rub it in others faces.

But if they don't, then they're missing half the fun.

Remember,he who dies with the most toys....wins.

They don't have more money, they likely have a heck of a lot less but they want you to think they're loaded. We have tons of those out here, we call 'em 30,000 dollar millionaires. They're generally broke and up to their ears in credit payments (cards, leases, etc)

I've met a lot of folks who are loaded over the years. they look like normal folks and live relatively modestly. You'd never know they were rich just looking at them. If someone "looks rich" then they generally aren't

Nah, he who dies with the most toys - is still dead.

And the ancilliary to that is, he who dies with the most toys is....dead...and, he leaves one helluva mess for those he left behind to clean up.

The funny thing is the guy is bragging on a Ferrari 308...a $25,000 car.

Come ON !!!!

This.....and the guy knows I work on a 360 Challenge car.

"You aughta see what ~I~ have !!!"

Are you freakin' kidding me?!?!?!?!

If given the choice b/w a 308 and a really nice TR6......

.....I'll take the 6 hands down.

Sure, like I wanna pay $90 a piece for paper valve cover gaskets...whatever.

Ohhhhh Yeah ?!?!?!?!?!

~I've~ got a car so rare it hasn't even been built yet !!!!

My wife's Expedition cost 25K!

Billy,

I hope that we meet some day.You sound like a nice guy
that has to deal with the real world.

- Doug

No, just thr circles I'm in now.

"What size engine in the stroker car."

3.7

"~WELL~... ~MINE'S~ a 3.0 VEEE EIGHT !!!"

.....~AND~ ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

It's just so stupid.

No Doug, the problem is I'm dealing with people who DON'T live in the real world.

I honestly don't understand it.

Oh, and LORD FORBID you talk about something other than how great they are.

It's like you just farted or something.

Unfortuantely I'm not allowed to be "myself" in these situations.

WE'd get 'em straight STAT!

Breathe in........
