Legal MG ZS on ebaymotors.com

i noticed that as well a couple of days ago, also note the bunch of trumps including the blue tr-3! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

I think finding parts for that engine is difficult at best. But it's supposed to be a real performer. Would that be considered a performance-oriented car across the pond?

Hehe, good thing Tony is across the pond.

Legal licensures, insurance, parts availablitity...all concerns.

eh... do what Lotus did, swap that Rover power plant for one of those 1.8L Toyota mills. I get it'll go faster better with one of those in it, and you'll have replacement parts for the engine available! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Can't see the details in link above, but that's really just a rebadged Rover saloon, probably an ex-pat car. Almost impossible to insure in the US.

I wonder if his insurance company really knows its an MG ZS, or if his title really says it is?

I'm guessing (from the rear window decals in the photo) that the owner is military and it may not matter what he title says.

I know it might not matter for him, but my point is, if a civilian tries to register it, or insure it, they might have problems. Didn't Tony talk about these issues a few months back?

If I could even go 1/2s... I'd be buying a house.
