LED lights

Good afternoon all my friends. Did anyone, think or have already change incandescent lights for LED lights thru out the car, ex; gauges lights, stop lights, turn lights, what you think on this?
LED lights uses less amount of power.

One of our local club members has changed his tail/stop/turn bulbs with custom-made LED units (from https://www.litezupp.com/ as I recall). He seems pretty happy with them, not so much for drawing less power but for being brighter and more visible at night.

In a "tail to tail" comparison with another club member's car, the LEDs were slightly brighter, although whether it was enough to be worth the cost is debatable. Unfortunately I didn't take my car over for comparison, as I'm still not convinced that his were any brighter than mine.

Note that your original turn flasher will not work properly with the LEDs, as they are sensitive to the amount of current drawn through them. Most likely, you will need a special flasher, with a separate ground wire.

But in general, LEDs don't actually generate as much total light as an incandescent bulb. They seem bright only if you are looking into the "beam" that they naturally form; off to the side they only glow dimly. My limited experiments with using them as dash and indicator lamps have not been encouraging.

I just converted my dash lights to LEDs. Noticeably brighter (probably 300%). Well worth it. Haven't really considered any other conversions (tails or side markers).

This is what I mean, now I have my dash out,I'll like to this upgrade

also use it as courtesy lights when the doors are open under the dash and somewhere in the windshield frame.

I wanted more visibility when braking my 1958 TR3A in the dark. So I fabricated this, had it chromed and intalled it. I is about a foot long and shines much brighter than the tiny ones which are sold in California from a well known TR, MG and Miata parts supplier.

Mine does not have any visible screws or holes, it doesn't interfere with the re-fuelling cap and the attachments are hidden under the edge of the top or the edge of the tonneau cover. It takes about 2 minutes to remove before the TRA or VTR judges arrive.

Other TR drivers following me have said it is much brighter than a sidescreen TR without this light.
