LEDs are available from Veloce Solutions for our cars in various types. Web site is: www.velocesolutionsllc.com . Their prices seem to be unbeatable and shipping is very reasonable! PJ

Paul,
I used the LED bulbs in my MGB, but decided to go with LED light strips in my Bugeye. The difference is very noticeable and the strips are dimmable...got mine from SuperBriteLEDs.com.

Put the LEDs in the dash and what a difference! The lettering on the i instruments are white now, not dim yellow. Love it! :encouragement: PJ

I'm planning on making this change one of these days. Dash bulbs and tail lights/brake lights.

I've replaced most of he external lights on my fun cars with led, mostly from superbrightleds.com. Based on the scientific tests of my and a few friends eyes, they appear to work well in most simple fixtures e.g. Rover Series, Defender, but not as well on my TR6. I will say, the super bright 45 led 1157's work great on the new MGB, and it's nice not to see the voltage drop w the brakes at idle.

Havent tried led on the gauges yet, I kind of like the dim vintage glow...

I suspect I am not that far away from that either....

Figure your a pilot so, I did pass my commercial flight exam the last time! :encouragement: I was surprised the old eyes didn't let me down, but I was indeed concerned. :eagerness: PJ
