TR2/3/3A LED bulbs w/turn signals problem

I've installed LED bulbs in the turn signals front and rear and a new flasher . Now I don't get the indicator light on the dash to work. All turn light flash but no power to the dash indicator. Any thought or suggestions? I've hot wired the bulb on the dash and it works.

59 TR3 with new wire harness.

Did you use an LED for the dash light? If so, you need to make sure it is for positive ground. LED's won't operate with reverse polarity.

If it is a normal bulb...

1) check the ground on the instrument plate.
2) Check the "P" terminal on the new flasher to make sure it pulses to negative as the lights flash. It very well may be the new flasher is not working right.

I've tried both standard bulb and a LED with negative results. The car is negative ground. I've been able to hot wire from the battery to the light green wire at the flasher and light up the dash light . I've get out to garage in the next day of two to check the flasher unit out.
Thanks

I had the same problem so I reverted back to incandescent bulbs on the front which solved it.
There is another way to increase the load enough to activate the light but I'm not enough of
a "techie" to help.
