I know I am beating this topic to death in here (apologies) but I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the John Skinner seat kits (I am pretty sure these are the ones that both Moss and AH spares sells).
Specifically, has anyone purchased their fully trimmed seat kits or sent their seats to be trimmed? Are their installation skills worthy of Concours quality? Are the colors concours quality (I'm looking to do red) Main issue is making sure they don't look overstuffed or wrinkled.
Also, with respect to coloring, I'd like to keep the kick panels and rear deck in vinyl to keep the BJ8 square embossed pattern, but have leather seats. Will mixing this up like this result in a mis match in color? I am pretty sure this is how they did leather interiors from the factory, i.e. kept the kick panels and rear seat back in vinyl, never leather.
I know there's Heritage and Pheonix, but pricing and wait times aren't exactly selling me on those guys, plus John Skinners been doing these interiors for almost 30 years.
