Any tips on getting the plug to not leak? I was thinking of using teflon tape on the threads but are there any other methods thats work? Rest of the engine is dry and I'd like to nix this one.
A copper washer should do the trick. It will crush down and conform to whatever inaccuracies exist in the casting. This is the way most drain plugs work.
