Well, there ya go...sounds like Peter C is into customer service & that trumps price differentials any day IMHO.
 
Weird thing is, I took the cover off of the bak of the shock. Cleaned the inside & the outside. Put the cover back on & made sure it was tight. She does not leak. I'have had it ther over 24 hours & nary a drop. Hmmm.
 
Maybe just a bad gasket? Peter rebuilds the non exhistant bushing where the arme comes out. No bushing there on factory units but Peter adds them, also new seals as that seems to be where most leaks come from I understand.

Peter will be holding a tech session at the Lake of the Ozarks next June on shocks. See ya at that for sure.

False alarm. I've been working it everytime I walk passed it in the garage. The fluid that I thought was remaining from cleaning it was actually shock oil. It is a tiny little leak but a leak non the less. I suspect I'd be filling it from time to time if I reinstalled.
