leaf spring direction

On inspecting the leaf springs, they look as if they could go on either way. If so, I'd like to aim he nuts on the retainers, inward. Any problems?

:nonono:---Not that I know of TH--Keoke--

Hi Rich,
If you are talking about the shackles at the rear, I think the nuts have to go on the inboard side. The shackles won't fit because of the trunk box bien' too close to the springs.

Hi TH. What is the Moss Part number of the spring you have--Keoke

#021-582. For an early Phase 1. I'm still waiting for the rest of the parts over a week now. They shipped the back ordered stuff via priority mail to an area with no mail delivery. It got sent back to Moss. It should have come to my office but they sent to a PO box that gets not packages. PITA! Springs came in two days UPS. Back order filled following day but not sent via UPS. Moss says that their policy on back orders is priority mail. Could have told me first. Sure hope I don't get with the extra shipping costs.

OK TH, That is a bummer. I guess my comment remains the same as posted earlier?-Keoke

Tahoe Healey,
Once you get the rear springs installed, please report the results back to us. I am interested in the recent quality of the rear springs and whether or not the rear end rises to the correct height. Thanks

As of this posting I am still waiting for parts (lost in US mail) so I put it all back together with the old stuff so I can ride this weekend. If the parts come, Monday is the day of reckening.
