LBCarCo Question

I have seen several post from folks who are using the Little British Car Co for a parts source. I have been to their site and I have looked up several Moss part numbers and the prices look great.

My question is related to delivery time frames. For those who have ordered from them how quickly are you getting the parts in? Do they have to order from Moss then once it gets to them they repackage and ship or do they drop ship right from Moss?

I am just trying to figure out if there is additional time in getting your parts and if so how much longer is it?

Thanks,

I have ordered lots of stuff from them. It has always gotten my orders in what I thought was a reasonable amount of time, and some orders really fast. I have spoken to Jeff on the phone a few times too. I will do more business with them in the future. Like many of the other parts dealers found here on the forum, he cares about the cars, their owners and treats you the way you would like to be treated.

I even stopped by Jeff's place once when I had business in Detroit. He took me through and showed me all his inventory and gave me the cooks tour of how he has everything set up. Jeff sets up a Vendors Tent at our British Car Show in Perrysburg, OH every year and brings his very nice MGA for the show. Jeff works hard to please.

If Jeff has the parts in stock you'll get them very fast. If they have to come from Moss it will take a few more days to get to you compared to ordering directly from Moss.

I've bought from Jeff on several occasions and am very happy with LBC Co service.

Haven't ordered a lot yet, but I've been very happy with the prices and delivery time.

Like everyone else posting, so far, I've been happy with the products and the customer service.

I've known Jeff for years; bought loads of parts. Always get a Walkers shortbread cookie in the box.

Had dinner with him once in London with one of his "big adventures" or whatever he calls the tours that he runs. I was in town working and he invited me along. Super guy. Same deal at the Carlisle show. Ask him about The Big Honker.

Sounds like there is a good story behind that one.

Hey Scott - how is the Spit coming along?

The Big Honker is the name he gave to his giant parts trailer. Must be 25ft long. He tows it with the "QE3", a giant SUV.

The Spit is coming along nice, but slow. Not sure if I mentioned it, but I took an intl assignment and have been living in Europe since January (Cracow). I'll be here until ~ July.

Been buying parts like mad though. Wife say every other day a new box turns up. I dont believe her

Should have the paint/body stuff done in late summer if all goes to plan.
