I will be hosting an open house @ my workshop for all British car enthusiasts @ 9:00 AM on Sunday July 15. This will be at my workshop where I am assembling my Westfield 11 kit. The shop is on Reseda Blvd. between the 101 and Ventura Blvd. behind Mr. MB Motors. There will be a Union Jack flying to mark the correct driveway.

Whoo, might make it if I start now.

I can only assume that the Westfield will be a trackday car; the Spridgets look like goliaths next to them, and they are hairy enough to drive in the US!!! BTW, is the Phaeton the W12 one?

I really wanted the W-12, but couldn't find a used one at my price. Wound up getting the entry-level V-8 for a good price. I look on it as the equiv. of a MB S420 but with the Quattro system only for a lot less money. Mind you I did get the extended warranty!!!

Trackdays are not as popular over here, I think our ability to enjoy our cars is not as compromised by legal restrictions as in the UK. No Gatsos, and only a few cameras to prevent running of redlights and only in congested cities.. We can still get out onto the backroads and have fun. A better name would be "Sunday car"....
