An old ECO Model 97 "Tireflator" with the wall mount....it works (even the light)...over the weekend we'll paint it Texaco Green & get everything hooked up.

Sweet deal. You need one of those old, glass bubble topped "66" gas pumps to go with it.

Snip - I just thought about it: I prob'ly said that to the wrong guy. Let me guess - you have one already!

Got an old Texaco one....its been redone in silver since the photo was taken:

LOL! I knew it!

I'm prob'ly just getting old and mis-remembering, but things were simpler then, weren't they? Not better, maybe, but simpler. Thanks for the flashback.

Now that looks like a useful thing to have.

I've been making a nice bit of cash selling all that old gas station stuff I pulled from the basement at work on ebay...Still got a bunch of cans to go(similar to what you got to the left of the first photo). I wanted to keep it all to decorate my garage whenever I get one worthy, but it was just taking up too much space....I kept one glass globe, and some porcelin signs.

OOOh....I forgot you had those things & never asked if you were gonna sell them....

Jack, I'm going to run a hard air line out to it along with electricity for the light.....it'll save me having to unloop an air line everytime I need to air up a tire in the drive (plus, its just cool!)

yep yep, useful.

Man, I just looked on ebay & saw what those things are selling for...need to insure it!

And I remember the orginal thread addressed to Tony as our collector of special stuffs.

I think our friend Tony is liveing the good life, the one we would all like to emulate in some way. I guess I am not really jelious but just thankful that someone out there has all the neat stuff and a neat place. Kind of gives me a smile when I think of driveing into the entrance which I have been privlidged to do on several occusions so far and will do again. Shoot, I got the 50 cent tour and then was turned loose to touch and poke about even. Actually pulled a part or two and pumped a jack, so nice to get to mess about and enjoy his efforts.

Boy would I enjoy getting his old parts organized again. Tony is stretched preaty thin these days and really needs a gopher with his pasion liveing next door.

About that vacent lot across the street Tony...........

Could I rent a stall if I helped with orders and pulling used parts and just kind of messed about. Hehe.

I did look up that air thing on ebay, over 600 bucks and still biding. I bet Tony did not pay that, lol.

Heck he buys daily drivers cheeper.
