TR6 Late TR6 Front Fender Removal

I'm trying to remove the front fender of my 76 TR6. I've got what looks like all the bolts removed, but it is still being stubborn near the door. Is there some more bolts that are hidden from easy access by the door?

If so do I need to remove the door, and is there any tricks to doing so?

Incidently I have both the Haynes and the Bently manual and neither covers removal of the major body panels.

Thanks!

Todd

There are some inside fasteners accessible from the footwell side holes forward of the doors. Other than that, it could be some very stubborn body caulk. You will need to remove the carpet panels along the sides to access the holes.

No bill, they were not brazed. But an often over looked nut is the one behind the head lamp assembly as well as the two on the upper rear of the fender going into the cowl. There are also three that go into the A post. In the picture of the A post, at the top left you can see one of two bolt holes that previously mentioned.

Hi,

I got the one behind the head lamp. Didn't know about the ones in the foot well.

The picture is a big help. I'll get to it after getting back from the inlaws for Easter dinner.

Thanks again guys!

Thanks for posting those pix.... one of these days
