I always wanted a Lotus 7. Ended up with a Series 3 Caterham with a Lotus Twincam engine. It sat for a decade before I bought it and I'm bringing it back to life. It is great when it runs and a swell teacher when it doesn't.

Hello Ymmot

Welcome to the forum.

Back in the 1960 when I had a TR2 as my daily driver I thought it was low to the ground then one day at the traffic lights I looked across at a Lotus 7 and realized how much closer to the road that was. Always had a hankering for one but never managed to get one.

Post some photos of your Caterham.

David
