On Saturday I went to Road America in Elkhart Lake, where they were holding a vintage race weekend.

Holy Cow!!

Needless to say there were some mouth-watering machines there, in the parking lots, in the paddock, and of course racing.........

I have piccies!!

Just lemmee figure out how to get some of them up on the forum and we'll have ourselves a "Cars & Coffee" drool-session!

My favourite vehicle there? Despite all the exotica, the best vehicle of the event was a Green Goddess.......... Fellow Brits will need no further information, my colonial friends may need to Google it! The owner is a great guy, very enthusiastic, and allowed my two young nephews into the cab, let them play with the bell, and the "Blues and Twos"! He also had a blown MG, which I also managed to get some shots of.

That was a good day!

I gave him info about the forum, hopefully he will pay us a visit and even join in. I told him, you guys will LOVE the GG!

Aargh... Another bout of envy here, thanks for telling me all about it Steve! LOL

Don't mind me as I just finished browsing some photos from Goodwood

All we get here is... Really, nothing... Nothing at all... Rather pathetic actually...

And a green goddess? They are very cool, one of my favourites

Used to put that on our salads back in the day.
