large tree removal

Had a 70+ ft. x 32" oak that just didn't come back from winter (strange, because it looked fine thru fall)

to close to the house & to tall for me, so I hired the real guys to remove it.

I thought it was going to be a Tough job with all the trees & house so near, but the five guy crew made short work of it.
& left a little sign on the trunk I rather liked.

I had two large Ash trees removed from the front of my property on Wednesday. Both trees were infected with the Emerald Ash Borer. This little pest bores into the feeding system of the tree and robs it of the nutrients.
Next week I have someone coming to grind the stumps.

we have an ash in the backyard - has been infected but we have treated it - so far so good.

they figure 800,000 trees in the greater Toronto Area will die

I wanted to try and treat them but was told by a few tree services that it would be a waste of money.
Glad it's working for your trees.
