OK, not worth $2300, but looks like it would be fun to build one.

Hmmm... Shoulden't be too hard to build at all. the gear is on the minute hand shaft of a standard clock movement, and the numbers are spaced one revolution of the gear apart on the chain. I think I'd try and make the chain go the other way though.. My first instinct was to look at that picture and say, "It's almost 11" but the way it moves is actually after 11.
And of course the "drivin gear" (that this clock dosen't have) possibilities are endless
The gears are turning........heheheheh Especially at $2300!!!!!!

How often do you have to oil the clock?

Great idea........ Christmas is almost here!!

What do you mean, Oil the clock. It's British, isn't it. Don't all British thing-a-majigs come with their own oil supply??? Just asking.

Should have asked how often do you have to add oil to the clock.

Re-setting for daylight's savings time is real easy...just lift off the gear and re-position. Of course, don't have that thing hanging within reach of the cat!

A 24 hour version!! But ya'd either need a slower motor or a higher wall.

What's the housing meant to resemble? It just looks like the bottom of a rusty old Sanka can.

Y'know what would look good for the housing? The front timing cover of an old engine.
