I need to have four vintage Koni shocks restored for my Fiat Abarth Zagato. Has anyone ever had this done by one of the Koni service shops?

Mark

Mark, are these "take apart" shocks? If they aren't I don't think they can be rebuilt. Maybe TrueChoice can do them though.
I've dealt with them for other items, and have always been pleased with their service.

Thanks for the input Jeff

I will send them email

Cheers

Mark, FWIW the last time I checked the price of rebuilding it was about the same as new Koni's for my TR4A.

Cheers

If it's a "common" unit the replacement may be an option. If it's a "rare beast", I.E. Lotus rear strut unit, the only option is rebuild. I kinda think the Zagato will have the Koni Unobtanium units, unfortunately. The good news is Koni (TrueChoice) ~will~ rebuild 'em.
