The neighbor down the street is a mentally handicapped 35-year-old that, with his mom, owns about 10 cats. One of the them is a bobtail that is really a dog in cat's clothing. Really. It acts and thinks like a dog. It trots and acts like a dog, comes and stops on command, responds to a whistle, and will wait patiently for his master to come out. I want that <span style="text-decoration: line-through">cat</span> dog.

The ~last cat~ here is much like that. Comes when I call, ignores all others. She's th' heart of a lion, the sense of a ninja. The one who went Beyond in January had the same heart and did respond to being called by name, but he was a perpetual two-year-old... A fool who'd rush in, regardless. My dear Merlyn... I genuinely miss that one.

Along with a couple of puppies, this is our cat. She's 11. I guess we like her, cost us 1500 bucks to save her life from an intestinal blockage. PJ
