Know this Front Shock BUSHING?

slide.001.jpgslide.002.jpgi've got some kind of rubber bushing being squeezed out of the front shock where the shock forefront meets the frame. I can't seem to figure out from exploded images just what bushing it might be. It does not completely buffer the entire front shock, but seems to be situated only under the "front" half of the shock. I've attached a couple of images for better explaination of the bushing and its position.

How is this particular bushing replaced? Can it be done by simply jacking up the shock or is it something only done during a front suspension project? Thank's greatly - a first time member.
