vping, i had the same operation on my r/knee 1990-1991, as a result of a ski accident, was great until about 9 months ago when it got "pesky" throbbing ache, went back got m.r.i, xray etc, was told i didnt have any additional damage but had fluid on/around the knee the doc walked into the room with my favorite thing in the world (no not a renewal prescription for percocet and a beer) but a huge horse needle, he turned around to prep it and i was gone, hed told me earlier during the exam that ones body usually absorbs the fluid as you know its been cool and raining the last couple of days and this knee is bothering me as i type, i wasnt told to do p.t. prior to the operation but can tell you "you must and should" do the p.t. after, i think youll find that after your operation you want to move your sleeping, t.v. area, eating area as close to the little boys room as possible, i.e. some place you wont have to go up/down stairs, because getting there will become a sporting event, crutches can be dangerous if you can practice with them in advance, again do the p.t.! and good luck. - side note i had my knee done in ct. by dr. "sorry" yep that was his name. tony b. good luck with your shoulder. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif
