hi,
i am ex Yorkshire, now living in Australia, have 3 jaguars 1 range rover, 1 ford, 1 MG
my first car was a 1932 MG J2, paid twenty five pound for it.
i always buy cars that have something wrong with them.
there was nothing wrong with the J2 when i bought it, i once paid two much for a merc once, the most money i ever paid for a car, it was a big disappointment, still got it, dosnt go

hi, i have had a few fords, i wouldn't know what models they were, the first one had the accelerator pedal in the middle, the second one had only one front spring, going across the front from side to side, you didn't steer it, you aimed it, another one had the 100e engine, i had a mk2 consul, when i bought it, it had a rear wheel bashed right down around the brake drum, i had a mk1 ford zephyr, in England the rear spring hangers would rot out, so i checked them out and they were ok, so i bought it, but in Australia, with the gravel roads, the front superstition fall to pieces, the only thing keeping the front wheels facing forward, was the anti role bar which was stopped from going further back by the sump, the anti role bar had cracked the sump,, which i found out when i topped up the oil. i had a ford falcon XT, almost new when i bought it, not a patch on the old consul,
my current ford is a cougar, they made them in the US, sent them to Europe, converted them to RHD, then sent them to Australia, so i read
