Last night one of our cats (General) started throwing up blood and seemed to not want to eat anything. My wife took him into the Vet this morning and Vet ended up putting him down. Never easy. He was 14 years old and was adopted by use when is just appeared in our yard one day as we were out doing yard work. On the plus side, he did have a fairly good run for a cat (not a record, but still pretty good) and those years were mostly happy and healthy - no long, drawn out problems.
