Anyone know if there is a kit car based on a spitfire? I have seen MG and MGB, but no spits.

Just curious....
Maybe....

Sure.

Its called a GT6.....

OK, really for Herald, but probably not too hard to adapt to a Spit chassis.

Now, THAT is cool!

and that is what I am looking for. I have since found a few based on the TR, but I dont have one of those frames laying around....

Thanks!

Wonder what the shipping cost to the US is? Any state wide dealers?

Doesn't look too bad. Reminds me of some of the Mistral (Microplas) products in the old days.

Search the posts/archives. Someone was trying to put together a group buy with a reduced unit price, I think, and shipping in one container to reduce shipping costs.

Awhile back, probably about 5 or 6 years ago, someone linked to a site that was doing I believe Ferrari kits for the Spit, but I can't remember exactly which model Ferrari, or what the site was.

Thanks Shawn, I guess it just looked kinda like a Ferrari.

Thats pretty cool.

Re: Sammio-- kit car Spitfire based

Man, if they sold the space frame as well as the body kit I'd totally rip apart a Miata to do that! I like my Spitfires too much to do that to them.
