Kit Car or not

An associate of mine had (he is gone now) 8 real Bugattis. He bought them in the late '50s & early '60s when they were just "old cars". By the '80s the value of them had gone thru the roof and he couldn't enjoy driving them anymore so his son bought him a VW replica. He drove that thing everywhere and had NO trouble when someone (who didn't know him) told him that he should get a REAL Bugatti! He would just smile and agree.

One of the makers of fiberglass replicas of the Jaguar XK13 uses decals to simulate rivets. For the multi-thousands of dollars they cost, you think they could at least install real rivets. Makes me want to scream.
