Kingpin repair kit

The kingpin repair kits I have just recieved only contain two cork bushes in each kit. They also have an oring of the same dimensions or at least very close. The original also had a cork bush at the bottom of the kinpin up against the bottom bush in the stub axle.
Would this seem correct to replace the cork bush with an oring?

The kit came from the Healey Factory. I'll check back with them as would appear not to be correct.

The guy who was there for years looking after the Healey parts moved on a couple of years ago, his replacement (Mark I think) is very helpful, he owns a BN1/2 himself
 
Hi OZ BN1.

The rubber "O" ring is a replacement for the cork ring so it will work without any problems.

MGB's came out with "O" rings in the same place.

I had felt ones at one stage!, same as accelerator pedal thru firewall
 
Not sure, but your explaination sounds good. May also keep grease in it's place. There's another one of those fellas in the drive shaft.
