The other day I was checking out parts for my Spitfire engine rebuild and noticed that King makes a tri-metal bearing for these cars. Does anybody have any experience with these bearings? They seem to cost about the same as Vandervell VP2. I noticed that the Roadster Factory sells their b-metal bearings, so figured they were OK.

I think these King tri-metal are about as close as one can get in NEW bearings to the old and no longer generally available Vandervell tri-metal bearings...and they're likely MUCH better than some of the other currently available bearings!
