King tri-metal bearings

The other day I was checking out parts for my Spitfire engine rebuild and noticed that King makes a tri-metal bearing for these cars. Does anybody have any experience with these bearings? They seem to cost about the same as Vandervell VP2. I noticed that the Roadster Factory sells their b-metal bearings, so figured they were OK.

I've got King bearings in my blown Hemi...they are sold by one of the top shops that sells early Hemi stuff...

Don't know if it makes them good or not, but I frequently work right across the street from their factory /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
