That's really neat! Could you imagine wandering down to the beach and running into one of those?

That's from a Wallace and Gromit series about inventions that was on the BBC a while back. The whole series is neat.
 
DaVinci would be amused, methinks.
 
Now that's cool! I wonder if I could build one? That'd be quite a challenge.

Look up "Kinetic Sculpture Race" on Youtube - they have a
race every Memorial Day weekend,where they go from Arcata (CA)to
Ferndale.

They look kinda creepy, IMO. People caught unawares might freak out if they saw one of those meandering down a beach...
 
Or just rolled over them while they were sunbathing.
