kilmartin sills

Hi Everyone
There has been some discussion about reproduction outer sills (rockers) and that they are not curved, but flat. I have just taken delivery of new Kilmartin sills and they are curved. When I ordered them I asked Greg Kilmartin if they were curved and he said they were about to produce them and to wait a week. The curve is slight and may not show in the pics, but it's there. I just thought I'd let you know. Of course, if you buy from another vendor they could be older stock. It may take time for the new ones to come through.
Cheers

We bought BN2 sills from Kilmartin years ago and they are curved. Be very careful fitting them up; you pretty much need to have all panels--doors, shrouds, wings--installed to locate the sills properly. You probably will have to trim at one or both ends, and the angle on the bevels at the recessed points--where the front wing and rear dogleg overlap--may not be exactly correct.
