Does anyone know how to get the cylinders out of the ignition switch, door, trunk and glove box locks?

When you turn the key to the on positions, there is a button on the back side that becomes exposed. You press the button while pulling the key outward.

I don't have the keys which is why I want to jigger the pins or make a key. I'm going to try to pick them.

I was in that boat. Check out post #15:

You will have to pick the first lock. From that one you can hand cut a key blank...and with any luck, the other locks will still match a single key.

These are rickety locks, so picking them is not all that hard. You need one small blade screw driver to place a continuous twist on the cylinder. While holding that force, you need a little dental pick to run in and out, pushing the tumblers. With persistence you should be able to pop it in a minute or 2.

You must get them to turn in order to get them apart.

When I bought my tr4a the trunk was locked and no key received, With 2 little shafts it was possible to open the trunk in 2-3 minutes, hopefully rickety locks indeed.
