I saw a beautiful 62 TR3 on ebay with kelly Metric Radial tires .
Seems they are available for $75 ea.
Does anybody have any opinion or experiance with these tires?I thought they looked nice, for the price.
Thanks
Tom

I own them and have them on my wire wheels. I think they're fine and look nice. I've not had them on any long distance tours.

Having said that, I did have a snooty old guy in an alignment shop a few years back suggest I replace them with a more "roadworthy" tire if I ever intended to be on the Interstates.

I suppose if I were back in the tire market, and if I was tied to using the classic 165 R 15, I'd look to Vredestein or Khumo, but would also feel just fine with Metrics, at least for the vast majority of my driving needs.

Thanks, I like to keep track of who makes 165x15 as brands seem to come and go (mostly go).

I currently have Nexens on my wire wheels and just took a 1200 mile trip with much high speed w/o a problem.
