I got way side tracked today and researched some Kellison bodies. Supposedly they made one for a Spridget chassis/running gear? Anyone have pictures of such? Just idle curiosity.

https://kellisoncars.homestead.com/technical.html The J-1. Odd I was looking at the web page yesterday, trying to find some info on this sprite bonnet

Awesome, thanks for the link! I searched and found nothing on the J-1. I like that (well, maybe not the bubble top so much). Wonder how hard that body is to come by?

Except for the fact that this bonnet has headlights, it looks a lot like the original Gerry Coker "poor man’s Ferrari" prototype bonnet.

Where is the bonnet in the photo now? Any more photos of it?

I had a Kellison GT-40 body for a VW - nice thick 'glass, and good fit of panels, but no bracing or hinges molded in. I came across a Kellison bodied Fiat Topolino a few months ago (retired drag racer). Nice thick fiberglass, but it looks like hinges and bracing were an afterthought. Looks like the person who bought it took on the part of hinging the doors and bracing the shell.

Got these pictures from a guy. Kellison bonnet.

At first I thought it was neat. But then seeing the pics above I have decided that I am reall glad it did not come from the factory with that bonnet. Our standard bonnet is way cool.
