Keihin [Harley] CV Carb Update

As some of you may remember, I have picked up a (late) '69 Midget with a Keihin CV carb installed. I promised to keep you all updated, so here we go.

The car had an MG Metro type cast intake/exhaust manifold, which had a loud exhaust leak.

I have since installed a Winner's Circle LCB and a single 1 3/4 SU manifold (Mini Mania C-AHT770A). The carb will need some adjustment with this set up, as I have a bit of surging. I will keep you all updated as I make changes.

Now that the exhaust leak is no more, I notice a rather noisy valve train (tapping), so that must be dealt with first.

Here are a couple of shots as she stands now:

Cheers!

As my pappy always said, "Noisy lifters are happy lifters" ...of course he was almost deaf.
