Yesterday came the packet with the book from Kas and I'm amazed about the content.

If anyone needs a Christmas gift for his wife this book should be suitable:

i really had forgotten, that I wrote that article as it was from 2009 and the book was delayed 'till now.

The wings were a funny thing, first started as a protecting shield against heat, then extended to become a cooling device.

But it didn't help against sealing ring failures of the brake, cooled the brake and fluid very good though. The reason for these failures is the very bad rubber quality and so I have let made special rubber rings for the brake and they do last now and help against brake pad push back.

I'm thinking about to make them available but as the price for this ring is high there might be no interest.
Maybe to risky to make a run and not selling them off.

Cheers
Chris

Thanks for pointing this out Chris, I've been fretting over what to get myself for Christmas. Tom

Do you mean get it for your Wife,so that she doesn't want it-
she'll let you have it?

Of course,my Wife would "let me have it" - if you know
what I mean.
