A friend of mine who is 61 years old and a 2nd degree Black belt has taken me on as a project. He is trying to teach karate to the guy who should be named (sarcasm) Mr. Coordination. I am only 52 but my current skill level in karate ranks up there with the average 10 year old. I didn't know my old raggedy self could hurt in so many places at once. Now to top things off my wife has talked me into Folk Dance lessons. Groannnnnnnn!

I studied Shotokan for 12 years, starting at age 28. Quit when I went to seminary 17 years ago, and miss it terribly. Never too late to start...
