First episode shows promise. We'll see...

Kinda hard for me to judge, having lived there as a teen and young adult, and having roots there. Dad was born there, and I still have relatives in the city. And Janet grew up there, so lots of bias on my end.

It's good to see the attention that the fantastic, one-of-a-kind city is getting, with this new TV series. I just hope it doesn't backfire.

Regardless of all the negative press that New Orleans gets, there's no denying that its culture has had an incredible influence on the country.

I watched it, and it was considerably better than I had figured it would be, I liked the plot twist at the very end.
Glad it's not just Miami Vice revisited

No, not funny at all. This one has the potential to be much more than a cop show. It'll be worth watching to see what direction the story lines take.

It was almost a 'non-cop' cop show.....& I wonder how that little plot twist at the end of the show that chuck mentioned will play out.
