Ever hear Keep It Simple Stupid? Ran into 2 things yesterday. Alway remember to look at the last thing you touched when a problem occurs. 1st thing was the 63 developed a hickup on accelleration. The last thing I did was check the oil. I bumped the number three plug wire and the fix was simple. 2nd problem was a bit harder to find. One of my MGBs was just sold at a consignment store. They called and advised that the car would not start and did not know why. It tried to start but just would not run. Well the guy that purchased it just ran it on a test drive the other day and all was good. I drove up to the place and started checking why there was no fuel. Power to the pump was good. As I was checking things under the car at the pump a guy said the rear marker lights were going on and off. That was all it took to find the problem. The place that sold the car installed the rear licence plate and thats where I had the rear ground wire. They did not put it back on. Problem solved! So remember to KISS it and look at the last thing done when a problem occurs. Bob
