I love you guys and this forum... I've been trying to learn from my discussions on another forum centered on my new car, and well... to put it nicely, they all seem to be a 'flock of sheep' and not a one of them seems capable of independent thought formulation, and even fewer seem to know how a car works. There are VERY few exceptions to that statement. About the only ones that I can count on being knowledgeable are the Vendors, and even some of them seem to be at dubiously low levels of vehicular knowledge.

ANYWAYS, I just thought I'd share that with you folks. I just read the Ethanol thread and felt "inspired" to communicate something, since I felt like I had learned something interesting from it. :smirk:

Then again, maybe it's lack of sleep that's making me type this silliness out for you guys right now...

So....whats your new car? Did the insurance company treat you right? Inquiring minds....

'08 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS "Graphite Grey"; it's the best bang for the buck out there as far as options goes. I could have gotten plenty of cars that have much more power for the same price, but I don't really see the need for 200+ HP in a commuter car. It's not as fun as the MG was, but it has a million times more character than a Civic.

The insurance company treated me "ok" as far as the value of my B went. IF I were to try and sell it, I don't think I would have gotten what they gave me, but emotionally the B was worth WAY more, because I would have never sold it. The rest of the insurance claims are still in process. I'm still seeing a Chiropractor for the neck pain, but I guess I'm getting better, the Dr has cleared me to return to the gym, but was instructed to "take it easy"; don't want to risk re-injuring that which is nearly healed already...
