Just stumbled on this survivor

Nice example...... So Bill, how far are you from acton, ma.?

"... (not the ugly four seater)" LOL!

It certainly would be nice to stumble on one of those myself, as that's what my car is supposed to look like (plus white sides). Nice find.

:nonod: I don't know maybe I'm getting too skeptical in my old age but the paint looks really "too nice" to be a fifty year old car, plus even the bumper brackets look nice and black. Might be nice to see some interior pictures and under hood shots. Still, at that price not bad if the mileage is accurate.

My two-seater (not the ugly 4 seater) is a '60 model.

Close enough to go take a look if you are serious. Give the guy a call. If you think you want it, I'll go take a look.

Yeah, I was wondering about the paint myself. BUT...you never know.

Thought I had a guy here that was interested.... but he did not get the nod from his boss ( wife).
Thanks though for even considering.
Almost looks to good at that price.

WIth 60K miles its hard to believe the paint is original. That car most likely had a face lift in the last 20 years. My ugly four seater has only 35K miles and a coverup paint job done in the late 70's. Even with half the miles you can look all over the car and tell its over 40 years old. The 60's style tires could be purchased well into the 80's. I have noticed that well maintained cars that did get "freshened up" with new paint and interiors when the car was around 10 years old can be passed off in as original condition. But you never know...
