Just one more reason not to use valet parking

I refuse to use valet parking. This is just another reason not to. At least watch the helicopter video. These two started off dumb and proved it when they looked at the helicopter following them then proceeded to burn rubber.

Apparently they closed up shop after this. Cruise-passengers with cars on the lot returned to find their keys dangling from the door locks.

PS: near the end of the video they show where he puts a dog on the trunk-lid of the 'vette. The dog keeps walking around on the paint. I...I... heck, it's a hertz rental but I'm still disgusted

Yep... not leaving my the Frogeye with ANYONE.

Lot of truth to that. Read an article once that said that manual transmission
cars were taken at a much lower rate than automatics due to so many people in the US not knowing how to drive a stick.

Americans a quick to try to get automatics when traveling overseas, but those models aren't very available. I suppose I can understand that in the UK (though it doesn't take long to learn to shift with your left hand). The other day I mentioned to "youngster" (aged about 40 - and I'm only 59) about "3 on the tree" and they didn't have a clue what that meant... and when explained to them they seemed very surprised.

I've read that type of story several times over the past few years. Occasionally you'll hear a story about a valet attendant that can't park a car because of it too.
