From Allen. He is the guy that I bought my second Bugeye from about 1975 in North Altanta. Said he was moveing and ran across my business card, Donald Jack Laird, Major USAF and was I the guy.
He delivered the Bugeye, an orange one, in the back of his pickup and on the second trip brought me a Mark II or something for a parts car. No bonnet, finaly found one in Fort Walton Beach and shipped it Grayhound for $12 to Atlanta.
Now is this some site or what?
Sold that Bugeye in 1991 when I went to Saudi for 8 years. It had a stage III 948 at that point with a 206 head and 1 1/2 inch SUs, cam, balanced, lightened flywheel, ported and releaved, etc, etc. Oh I wish I had that engine. Or at least the parts from it.
I did not recognize the name from this site but no telling.
