I have been working on my doctorate for far too long now. Just posted what I hope is my final revision for my qualifying exams which leaves only two more (large)hoops and then Dr. JP

(Actually what it really means is I can play with cars instead of writing things - I am so ready for this to be done!)
 :driving:

Congrats JP

Good for ya! In the past I thought about working on a DMin, but guess it wasn't meant to be.

Twenty years of book-larnin' is plenty for me!

Good on you, JP. Hope it all goes well.

I've been tempted to go back to school a couple times, but then I remember what was one of the happiest moments of my life -- walking out of my last exam at Yale and realizing that I never had to take a test or write a paper for school again.

I loved school. I was just telling a story to my B-I-L about me building a small hovercraft. It used a leaf blower for lift and would hold 250 #'s. I used to put my buddy on it and send him flyin' down the hall of the engineering building at about 15 mph. He would end the run by crashing into the vending machines at the end of the hall. Professors would here the noise and would sometimes walk out their office into the hall just as Ryan went flying by. Nothing like faculty bolwing!

We would occationally mow down a student who strayed into the hall from another part of the building. There was no where to go and no way to stop it.

Well......I could have unplugged it but it was too much fun watching the carnage.

Man, school was so much fun!

Hey Dr. JP

Doctorate of what? Does this mean you will get your own TV show like Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, or maybe Dr. Dolittle, Dr. Who, Dr. Seuss.

I already have my MD and lots of schooling.

Cheers

I thought the same thing when I finally took my DVM Boards 20 years ago. Funny thing is I keep on taking more and more classes and with that comes exams. I guess that is why the call it the Practice of Veterinary Medicine .

Congrates JP!

Ohhhh ohhh, JP, can you get me a scarf?

Does this mean you'll be spending most of your time fighting those garbage can things???

I'm not an RD, just a <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">Mouth Mechanic</span></span>.

sure, scarf on order, though as a time Lord I will be spending most of my time sources NOS parts and cheap Cars in original condition. Fortunately the Tardis is bigger on the inside than the outside. I'm currently thinking of heading back to the '70's and buying James Bond's car for $12,100 dollars

Just don't bring back any of those mean garbage cans.

What's the deal with those things anyway?!?!?!

Looks like something a ragged green muppet should pop out of.
