Reminds me of the time I have my E-Type head in pieces, strung across the kitchen floor. SWMBO was not pleased.

When I was in college, a friend and I rebuilt his BSA in his dorm room. Housekeeping was not amused.

Mines sort of like that... when all the COVID restrictions hit and gyms were locked down, I moved a lot of my gym stuff into the living room since going to the gym wasn't allowed. Now I just get yelled at when I'm trying to workout

When I first got the Prefect, we lived in a rent house and the garage had been converted into a den. I sort of rebuilt the motor in there since there was no garage. Interesting though that SWMBO did not really object, at least not strongly.

I guess the story goes like if you have to take the transmission out of the bathtub you are probably a RED NECK

Once helped a friend take his Spridget engine out of the car and put it into his apartment living room to rebuild. To be fair, he was single then.

For years I had a rebuilt spare MGB 3-synchro transmission sitting to the left side of our living room couch, a new windshield behind it. No issues from Herself, she's another LBC enthusiast, has had MGB's and a Lotus Cortina as her daily drivers in the past. Together we put a rebuilt engine into the Plus-2 in an unheated garage, dirt floor and in a February western PA winter... She married well.

But sometimes I wonder if I've not been taken advantage of. :p
