Naw JB, using the equestrian vernacular I’d much rather see her spend the rest of her days with her hands firmly planted on her withers in disbelief looking over her shoulder in the mirror at her enormous hindquarters.
 
Gotta admit, even as a woman, there's not much better revenge.

You probably know this but it hasn't been mentioned yet.

This is what I did about eight years ago.

In addition to the internet, newspapers, and the like stop in at the local real estate agencies and ask to see if they have any listings in your area. Give them your price range and proximity location. Tell them you just want to do drive bys on your own. They should be able to give you a bunch of listings. <span style="color: #FF0000">Do not sign any Realtor exclusivity contract agreements and if they insist just say thank you and walk out.</span> They may change their mind on the paper thing depending on how slow they are and come after you. I know you are looking to rent but the housing market is down right now so you may get more than you think. I'm truly sorry to hear the news, Good luck, and keep smiling.
